Join Us For The Lynchburg Out Of The Darkness Walk, Sat., Oct. 4

Join New Country 107.9 YYD's Scott Stevens this Saturday, October 4 for the Lynchburg area Out Of The Darkness Walk for suicide prevention.

The walk takes place at Peaks View Park, 170 Ivy Creek Lane in Lynchburg, with check-in at 9:00 am and the Walk starting at 10:00 am.

More than 500 people have already signed up to make the Walk around the park's trails.

The event also features vendors, information, entertainment, food trucks, art activities, and more to help raise awareness for the work that the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention does across the country.

Activities on site also include hope/healing resources, an honor wall, and honor beads. 

There is no registration fee to attend the Lynchburg Community Walk, but donations and fund raising are encouraged.
