Roanoke's VFW Post 1264 and the VFW Department of the Virginia Service Department will hold a Veterans Outreach Event, Saturday, May 4 to help area veterans with benefit and healthcare eligibility questions and claims submissions.
The Veterans Outreach Event will take place from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm this Saturday at The Green Goat, 802 Wiley Drive in Roanoke.
The event is open to all veterans from any wartime or peacetime service.
The Roanoke VA Regional Office will be onsite to answer questions and provide assistance.
Other organizations on hand will include the American Legion, Jobs For Veterans, Healing Strides and K9s For Veterans.
Sponsors for the event include The Green Goat, Hill Top Bowling Center, McCorvey's Pro Shots, T Mobile, 13th Armory, and Blue Ridge Sign and Stamp.
