The Bedford Fire Department said human remains were found after a fire at a mobile home in Bedford County.
The Bedford Fire Department said the Bedford County 911 dispatch center received a call at 11:24 p.m. on Thursday, January 9 for reports of a fire at a single-wide mobile home on 2194 Nemmo Road in the Vinton area of Bedford County.
Fire officials said the Stewartsville Fire Department was dispatched along with the Shady Grove and Bedford Fire departments.
When units arrived on the scene, they found a single-wide trailer that was fully engulfed in fire.
The fire had also spread into the nearby wood line.
Crews quickly brought the fire under control.
