Jeryl Turner has been charged with felony malicious wounding after police said she stabbed Latasha Carper on Pinecrest Avenue.
When police arrived on the scene, they saw a woman with a large amount of blood coming from an area of her chest and another woman sitting in a silver vehicle.
Police say the altercation between the two women did not end after Turner stabbed Carper.
"The lady that was in the vehicle actually jumped back in the vehicle and pulled into the Pinecrest Apartment parking lot striking the lady that she had stabbed," said
Carper is now recovering from her wounds and Turner is being held in the Bedford jail without bond.
