Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Reported Multiple Drone Flybys To LAPD

Since moving to Los Angeles a few months ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have struggled to maintain their privacy. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently staying in Tyler Perry's Beverly Hills mansion while they search for their own home. They were forced to put up privacy curtains around their yard recently so the paparazzi wouldn't be able photograph them at home. It seems the paparazzi found a way around the privacy curtains as Harry and Meghan have reported multiple incidents of drone flybys to the LAPD in recent weeks.

According to the Daily Beast, Harry and Meghan are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of their family after catching multiple drones flying above their property. A recent drone spotting reportedly took place while they were playing with Archie by the pool. Though they believe the drones are being operated by photographers, they can't be positive about who is actually controlling them.

“They see these drones coming in at them, and they guess that they are being operated by photographers, but they can’t just assume that," a source told the Daily Beast. "Meghan received racist death threats at the time of her wedding, so the terror threat is very real for them. But, aside from that, imagine if you were in their shoes facing that, how that would feel? To have drones buzzing around 20 feet above your head when you are trying to play with your son?”

“It’s like people forget they are real people," the source continued. "But this is a real family. They are not asking for any special treatment; they are just asking for the safety and security we all expect in our own homes to be respected.”

The drones are just one aspect of what Harry and Meghan believe are “unimaginable” levels of intrusion upon their everyday lives. The couple are reportedly tailed by paparazzi every time the they leave their house, which leaves them "rattled" by cars "being driven very erratically" in an effort the capture photos of them. The Daily Beast's source claims one incident almost caused a crash that was “incredibly dangerous, shocking and scary."

While the LAPD would not confirm Harry and Meghan were involved in any complaints, they did confirm to the Daily Beast that there is an "ongoing droid issue" in the area.
