Several schools and businesses have decided to close Thursday due to an active search for a former Marine in Roanoke.
Michael Brown is accused of killing his mother's boyfriend in Franklin County.
Roanoke Police believe he's on foot and looking for transportation in Roanoke -- he's believed to be wearing a black hoodie and is considered armed and dangerous.
