Professor's Bet Goes Viral Unexpectedly

If you have a twitter account, there's a VERY good chance you saw this video below within the last few days:

Turns out, the viral sensation was FAKE.

Let's explain further: according to Buzzfeed, Andrew Cline, a professor at Missouri State, teaches a course called 'Fundamentals of Media Convergence.' The assignment, according to Professor Cline, was designed to be failed.

Much to his surprise, the video has so far gotten over 7.75 MILLION VIEWS in just days.

Obviously, the group that came up with the video got an A, but Professor Cline says that the retweets the video has gotten is just for 'people to draw traffic to their own twitter feeds.'

In this generation, going viral isn't as hard as it once was.
